Happy Spring 2016,
Thank you as always for subscribing and welcome aboard to our new readers. As the Sun moves into the fire sign of Aries, a cluster of heavenly bodies will remain in watery Pisces. Aries marks the start of something new and exciting, while Pisces symbolizes completion. In initiating
Aries, the Sun, Mercury and later Venus will come into contact with electrifying Uranus, and they’ll make some activating trines to energetic Mars in the fellow fire sign of Sagittarius. But Neptune, Chiron and the South Node (our past) in Pisces will temper Aries ferocity. Further, Saturn, Mars and Pluto will begin their retrogrades, and Mercury will cross the shadow of its second 2016 retrograde. Also, retrograde Jupiter, the planet of largess, will square restrictive Saturn
on the next eclipse. The forecast for Aries 2016 is one of measured progress. With some of the personal planets connecting with experimental Uranus, we are encouraged to try new things, and Mercury's movement into Aries on the 21st will help clear our heads of the Pisces fog that has descended for the past month. While Neptune, Chiron and the South Node hang back in sensitive Pisces, the Sun, Mercury and Venus move on into activating Aries. Here in Austin, the 30th SXSW festival launched last week with none other than President Obama as its keynote speaker. Dr. Brene Brown was also in town for a keynote. I’m soaking up the sounds from SX, as the locals call it, and finding an especially vibrant music scene here. So myself and
the harp are getting out and making new connections. I hope that the irrepressible spirit of Aries will motivate you to push past complacency so that you may embrace the new possibilities this cycle brings.
