Sun Into Pisces 2016 Edition

With the Sun, new moon, Mercury, Venus, South Node, Neptune and Chiron all swimming through Pisces, at some point during the upcoming cycle, the traits of this mutable water sign will be quite pronounced in the month ahead. Pisces themes range from artistry and imagination, to magic and
spirituality, to illusion and deception. Neptune is its ruler, and the vast planet representing the unconscious is in its home sign. This is some of astrology's trickiest territory to navigate because the lines between fact and fantasy tend to get very blurry when Pisces and Neptune are involved. On the healthy side, Pisces evokes our compassion, sense of oneness and desire to reconcile and heal. Its shadow however includes addiction, gullibility and excessive
sensitivity. Thankfully, sober Saturn in Sagittarius and the North Node and Jupiter in analytical Virgo will pressure us to keep things practical. THE MEANING BEHIND THE CARD
So often we ruin the present with expectations about the future. We may also define our ideas about future happiness too specifically. When something new comes into our lives, we fail to fully appreciate its magnificence because the mind starts creating scenarios about the future—trying to determine if this person or that situation is the key to our plans. This practice is especially detrimental
to relationships, because we are filtering from a place of limitation. When someone doesn’t fit into our narrowly defined ideas, we are disappointed, hurt, or angry. Tragically, we tend to miss the whole point and an opportunity to be present to a new experience.
So, remember that when you practice unconditional love with respect to what is, expectations dissolve into gratitude. This is the point through which true freedom and joy emerge in your life.

Sun Into Pisces 2016: Dream A Little Dream

Neptune’s influence will be pronounced as the Sun, Mercury and Venus come into contact with the oceanic planet. Add the South Node in Pisces and a solar eclipse on the day of
the new Pisces moon, March 8th, and the cosmic call for compassion, creativity, exploring the unconscious and healing will reverberate throughout the days ahead. Changing the energetic balance, dynamic Mars will move from watery Scorpio into fiery Sagittarius, where it will activate the mutable cross. Find out what all of this portends.
