Welcome to the Sun Into Leo 2015 edition!
Happy Birthday to all of you Lions in the audience. We’re entering the domain of celebratory, sunny Leo, some of astrology’s most enthusiastic territory, and this Sun cycle will see a stack of planets traversing the regal realms. As you already probably know, Jupiter is winding up its year-long stay
in Leo and Venus is slowing down for its six-week retrograde, mostly in Leo. Mercury and Mars will soon follow suit and jump into the fixed fire sign, fortifying the solar power and infusing our spirits with vitality. But a retrograde planetary pileup in late July and some squares from stern Saturn, in the high temperature zone of Scorpio, will temper Leo willfulness. Even so, they cycle ahead will be filled with the signature drama, flair, finesse and fun we expect from loyal,
loving, and ever-entertaining Leo.

Capricorn
To accomplish your goal, your ambition must be tempered with pragmatism, a long-term view, and regular and consistent work.
THE MEANING BEHIND THE CARD
Capricorn sees the mountain and fully intends to reach its peak. Realistic, disciplined, and determined, day by day the mountain goat ascends until achieving its objective. This message from the Cardinal earth sign indicates that your aspirations can be realized through consistent work over time. The rewards are there, but you must make the effort to attain them.

Note: Wow, this one seems perfect for the Saturn, Capricorn's ruling planet, squares to the Leo parade. It's a reminder that the grandest of plans are made of singular, consistent steps. Keep marching and keep shining.

Sun Into Leo 2015: Sunny Side Up

No sign loves to celebrate quite like vivacious, regal Leo, and this year the Leo Sun’s guest list includes Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter. Those planets, along with a new Leo moon, will amp up
courage and confidence, on a global scale thanks to trines from Uranus. But a retrograde bottleneck in late July will slow or shut things down, if only temporarily, and sober Saturn is poised to temper Leo passion and ferocity as it transits the final degrees of Scorpio. Ok, so I listened to some feedback on the first version of this song, and accordingly did some rewriting and recording. And, I even came up with a new harp part! I hope that you enjoy this, and I sincerely hope that it gives voice
and empowerment to anyone needing to find the courage to leave a bad situation. You are powerful and you are beautiful. Don't listen to anyone who, explicitly or implicitly, tries to tell you otherwise.
I hope that your summer is going well and that you're taking the time to enjoy it. It's been busy here, but somehow, even when only briefly, I'm popping outdoors for coffee,
lunch or to take in the gorgeous colors and cloud formations at sunset. And as pretty and cheerful as the sunflowers are, they are a reminder that autumn and change are around the corner. We'll see you when the Sun joins Jupiter in mutable Virgo and sets us up for the remainder of 2015.
